House Rules
Welcome to your desert retreat! We want you to feel at home and enjoy your stay. Here are a few simple guidelines to keep things smooth and enjoyable.
Food & Kitchen Use
Any food you find is fair game!
Bedroom Comfort
Use the humidifier in the bedroom – it helps a lot!
Outdoor & Indoor Fire Features
BBQ Grill: Stored in the garage. Feel free to use it!
Indoor Fireplace: Good to go, just buy wood.
Firepit: Electric start, ready to use.
Outdoor Spaces
Outdoor cushions are stored behind the TV – they blow away if left outside.
Use the electric leaf blower (next to fridge) to keep patios clean. Strongly recommended to avoid tracking grit inside.
Linens & Cleaning
If possible, please wash linens/towels before leaving – but no worries if you can’t wait for them to dry, just please don’t leave wet items in washer if you don’t have time to dry them as well.
Cleaning supplies are under the sink.
TV & Streaming
TV remote is logged into Netflix and Whatnot. Feel free to enjoy!
Security & Cameras
Text me when you’re close so I can turn the alarm off.
There are two cameras in the house: one on the kitchen counter, one facing the living room.
Feel free to unplug them for privacy, but please plug them back in before leaving.
House Etiquette
Shoes off inside is highly recommended – it helps keep grit out.
It’s a work in progress! Bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are set, but we’re still waiting on some furniture.
